2021 Conference - Call for Papers

ASRA’s 2021 Melbourne conference theme, survival and revival, will focus on the creation, use and preservation of sound recordings during the present time of the pandemic, climate emergency, and social and political upheaval. Papers are also welcome on themes that relate to former times of crisis.  

The Conference will be a hybrid event, with in person as well as online delivery of presentations. New and shared challenges and opportunities associated with sound recordings will be discussed. It is aimed at sound archivists, audio engineers, broadcasters, publishers, sound creatives, field recordists and anyone who has an interest in sound recording.
