The Australasian Sound Archive (ASA) is the Journal of the Australasian Sound Recordings Association (ASRA).

ASRA is an association of individuals, institutes, and corporations who are interested in and or operate in fields related to sound and sound recording. The Australasian Sound Archive is the means by which ASRA records research and professional activities conducted in said fields and makes it available to the broader sound and research communities. Submission to The Australasian Sound Archive is open to everyone. The Journal contains member and non-member authored content, as well as work presented during ASRA Conferences.

Since 2022, The Australasian Sound Archive has been published in digital and print. Content is made available online via RMIT’s Informit and its associated subscriptions and affiliated partners. Published content and authors are discoverable via Google Scholar, as well as other leading library and research platforms. Information on how to digitally access the ASA is forwarded to members once your renewal has been processed.

Issue 47

ASRA actively seeks contributions towards the 47th Issue of the Australasian Sound Archive. All works are considered.
